I don't think raines should be in but wills had a 330 obp the thought that they are even close is laughable in my opinion.
Palmiro really was a hof candidate, far better then sosa and mcgwire. But my problem with him why he could never get in and I know this sounds ridiculous, is him pointing his finger when he was testifying (everytime I think about palmiero that is what I think about), then getting caught soon after, that is why I can't let him in, even though I'm much easier on the steroids guys then most.
Something about that palmiero thing bothers me too this day. Having said that palmiero did have 10 100 rbi season and 11 either 100 run or 100 rbi seasons in his career where bagwell only had 9. To me it is very close. Higher obp for bags. Higher war for bags. but I keep going back to the finger pointing incident for palmiero that is why i couldnm't put him in myself. All is just my opinion.
