Mr. Jack Benne reports
BEVO AGRO INC. ANNOUNCES OWNERSHIP IN CUBIC FARM SYSTEMS CORP.
Bevo Agro Inc. has established a subsidiary company called CubicFarm Systems Corp. and has 54-per-cent ownership.
CubicFarm Systems will be using Bevo Agro's patent-pending Cubic Farming technology, developed through research at and by Bevo Agro staff over the past four years, which makes it possible for anyone to be a cubic farmer. The Cubic Farming machines can grow a large variety of leafy greens like lettuce, herbs and microgreens. They produce all year-round -- no matter the season or weather conditions, using controlled environment agriculture technologies.
The growing machines use a unique conveyor method with LED lighting, climate controls and an automated nutrient delivery process. The machines are self-contained within a 40-foot container or frame mounted for warehouse applications. Each machine is capable of producing up to 5,000 heads of lettuce each month. The first contract for 14 machines to be installed has been confirmed.
