Of course there "is skill involved".. If it is a scam, or even mistaken belief in the need/value of the patents to anyone else, that doesn't preclude handling things skillfully. Esp if it is scammy, it would go nowhere if it wasnt a sophisticated plan. Bogus products are skillfully crafted all the time, and value too of course, but the value here has shown itself, steadily, to be 4-5 cents. I think it's down since the "win", so that value added idea ain't there. And as far as the PTAB making any decisions based on them not wanting to be responsible for something, would constitute out & out fraud & should not be allowed or tolerated. And if they are guilty of irresponsible & fraudulent decision making, especially in such a potentially gargantuan outcome, then their other decision is not to be trusted or accepted either.
