None of this speculation makes sense. From what I understand, in late November MTIA had apparently agreed to fund on the order of $5 million. They even provided more bridge funding at that time. Since then, the only material event that happened was the Besser lawsuit, after which MTIA apparently withdrew their funding offer. I do not know any of this first hand, but it seems to be the case from what I've read. MTIA has not received any proprietary technical information since these events unfolded. So if MTIA already had enough proprietary information to go it alone, why would they have offered the funding in late November? It doesn't add up.
