Obamacare...The Good..Bad and the Ugly

Nobody is saying non-emergency medical care is perfect in ANY country where it's free, but the fact remains people don't go bankrupt when tragedy strikes and people don't pay what in some cases is like having a new car in the driveway instead of paying crazy U.S HC rates every month.

If your friends can afford the thousands of dollars for a new knee faster than the system could do it for them then all the power to them as it's their money. BTW, my brother-in-law waited 3 months for his new knee, after which he and my sister took the $6000.00 cruise they saved up for for 3 years.

Like I said, tax the crap out of the things that make people unhealthy(tobacco,booze..etc) and fund healthcare with it.
