Everyone overlooking the Heat Not Burn play in this. I think it may surprise. Pam got a nice quick sliver of smokers in Japan to switch. I see future generations adopting heat not burn although not in the quantities that smoke conventional cigs now.

The other thing would be the budding uses of tobacco other than smoking that it can be used for. Manipulating the plant to grow without metals and differing levels of sugar could also be very useful down the road.

Finally -- I don't see anything derailed on the VLN front. Looks like they will be able to market the product without an MRTP designation . To me it looks like they will be trying to claim something else on the package other than "reduced exposure to nicotine". Maybe not though.
