So you believe that INTC made good use of money by sinking billions into mobile platform R&D and marketing programs (including the infamous contra-revenue), only to have a new guy come in, look at the product pipeline, and say that it is so bad that it needs to be completely cancelled?

Intel has done well in many things, but Intel told investors this was something they wanted to win in, spent lots of money, and ultimately ended up with nothing to show for it. That's worth criticizing.

Today, Intel's focus is on other areas, and it will be judged by its execution in those areas. Let's see how it plays out.
