My solution would be to prohibit out of court settlements and mandate that all malpractice suits go to trial conclusion with the penalty phase including the loss of certification for doctors convicted of malpractice. Losing side to be liable for court costs for both sides. No limit to awards if doctor found guilty.



I can deal with that because I hate limits but I also know there has to be another way to stop the fraud lawsuits and the we just going to settle which is a crock of crap.

Insurance rates are not going to come down with that factor of settlement involved. Your way would force the parties suing to have legit case which would stop so many of these money grabbing lawsuits.
