“Inside our Fence" we operate within well understood rules and regulaons. However, once

we are "Outside the Fence" we operate in a gray area where rules and regulaons meet

public percepon and community relaons.

The public is more informed and involved in what's happening in their community than

ever before. In this presentation we will discuss proactive techniques for community

relaons, public education campaigns, as well as a few of the major concerns that

communies typically voice about projects, including noise, odor, fugive dust,

environmental contaminants, and diesel parculate maer.

This presentation is a great way to get a conversation going within your project

planning and emergency response groups.
