Re: FoB naming suffixes

The new [FDA] guidance formalizes that practice and sets new guidelines, declaring each suffix must consist of four lowercase letters and be devoid of meaning.

I presume (but I’m not sure) that suffixes for FoBs already on the market that do contain meaning—such as filgrastim-sndz, marketed by Sandoz—will keep their existing names.

Unlike some people who post prominently on this subject, I don't think this FoB-suffix issue is a big deal one way or the other.
