I have had 20% of my Portfolio in ASML over the last 4 years, I cashed out today at about the all time high $115. Market Cap of ASML is ..well lets call it $50 billion to keep the maths easy.

Intel of course owns 15% of that. (Yes I know AMD boys that dollar figure is something you can only dream about. Only a company with Intel's scale can make these bets)

Back to my point, is it time for Intel to cash out on its $7.5 billion dollars.. special dividend maybe ?

With the major players already commenting that EUV is a go for 5nm (or stage two 7nm) does intel have anything to gain by holding on.

One way to view the play is that ASML could well go on to double from here when the first HVM chips are made with an EUV scanner, in which case Intel is now owed $15 Billion.

Im so glad 15% of my portfolio is INTC and I get to sit back and this play out :).
