Tste9, you are on the right track. If you do nothing, at the end of February, each share of Ariad stock will be converted to $24 in cash. You won! Outside of tax deferred account, remember to allocate funds for taxes (short term (less than a year) or long term).

I sold on the announcement as I didn't want to take any chances on any changes in the world.
