I dunno, he sounded confident and competent to my ear, although I did find it a bit odd to hear him thrashing the erstwhile partner Nash as a rogue (who he referred to as 'Connie'?). Also -- the fraud discussion, and the confusion about who owns what and the shells was disquieting. Doesn't bode well for the long term, when Dame Connie's credibility may matter.

These appeals are as you know mostly won or lost on the written arguments filed anyway, which is why the questions from the judges are cluey I think. It didn't sound like they were all that keen on overturning Davilla, but as Ican will no doubt point out - stating the obvious --- it's up to the judges.
