Dear Vuzix Shareholders,

We are extremely pleased with the response we had to the M300 and Vuzix new waveguide base products we exhibited at CES. We wanted to share some of the reviews and articles with you. The timing could not be better, as we commence the volume commercial rollout of the M300. We look forward to a robust 2017 and to sharing our progress with you.

Please see some of the extremely positive feedback from the press, with excerpts and highlights presented below:

Electronics 360: "Winner of the 2017 CES Innovation Award, Blade 3000 smart glasses allow consumers to connect to the cloud and take entertainment everywhere they go. The glasses feature improved AR displays, ergonomics, computing power and sensor technologies.” Peter also mentions details about the drone race. 5 Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality Headsets Coming to CES 2017.

Engadget: "Vuzix's cloud-enabled Blade 3000 will help consumers take entertainment wherever they go.” The Top 4 Trends of CES 2017.

Ubergizmo: "Vuzix continues to spearhead the smart glasses market in the wearable technology industry, where the new M3000 smart glasses has been announced. This is the latest pair of smart glasses from Vuzix, and it is certainly worth checking out if you would like to explore the possibility of augmenting what you see with modern marvels.” Vuzix M3000 Smart Glasses Makes A Splash This CES 2017.

Android Headlines: "What is surprising is how sleek and nice to use the Vuzix Blade 3000 is. The new product implements some very nice changes to the way Vuzix does smartglasses. You’ll notice immediately that the projector assembly – the one that projects information onto your right lens – is built into the arm. The design is significantly condensed and it fits entirely inside the arm of the glasses." CES 2017: Hands-On with the Vuzix Blade 3000 Smart Sunglasses.

Barron's: "I had to admit, they were sleek, much better-looking than what I’d seen from Vuzix here last year.” To read further, please click Straight Outta Pepcom; Vuzix Touts Sleek; Meditation Bands, Endless OS.

CNN Money: "Vuzix wants to succeed where Google Glass failed. The company's sunglasses pair with Android devices and display what's on the screen in the right lens." To read further, please click 14 Coolest Tech Products from CES 2017.

Entrepreneur: "Augmented reality is definitely one of the more popular categories at this year's CES, and VUZIX Blade glasses is definitely looking to compete in the space….In a promotional video, VUZIX is used by a woman visiting a museum, a dentist and a lab technician -- all situations where you certainly wouldn't want to keep staring at your phone.” To read further, please click 9 Must-See Products at CES.

Tom’s Guide: "I put on a pair of sunglasses, saw an app running in front of my face, and didn't feel like a complete and utter dork in public. The Vuzix Blade 3000 Smart Sunglasses look like a slightly less attractive pair of Oakleys from afar, but have Google Glass-style power under the hood.” To read further, please click Vuzix Blade 3000 Are Less Dorky AR Glasses.

WIRED: “Now that Snap’s Spectacles have made face-mounted cameras totally on fleek, we thought CES might be full of new gadget glasses. But the best one we’ve seen so far is from a company that’s been doing this for a while…the blades looks boxy Oakleys…it’s a perfect way to look at Instagram without looking down." Wareable: “The display is clear and bright too, which isn't something I can say for every other pair of smartglasses I've tried. I was able to watch a short clip of video, and could see myself getting lost in YouTube with these on.” To read further, please click Trying Vuzix Blade 3000, the smartglasses for work and play.

Digital Trends: “The display is clear and bright too, which isn't something I can say for every other pair of smartglasses I've tried. I was able to watch a short clip of video, and could see myself getting lost in YouTube with these on.” … “The Blade 3000 are probably the nicest looking, most comfortable pair of proper smartglasses I've tried” … “So what else will we use them for? Well, for one thing there's a camera above the left lens that will capture photos and 1080p video, and Vuzix CEO Paul Travers says you'll be able to push captured footage straight to social media. I bring this up because it's exactly what Snapchat Specs were about. But for Vuzix's glasses, it's just one of potentially many others, including augmented reality.” To read further, please click Vuzix’s Blade 3000 Augmented Reality Smart Glasses Are Google Glass Reborn.

Android Community: "After trying on a pair of Blade 3000, this Digital Trends reporter came away impressed. The projected image — a demo video — appeared sharp and clear as it played in a loop. The lenses, which Vuzix says will eventually ship alongside interchangeable lenses including prescription inserts, colors, and UV protection, were comparable to an off-the-shelf pair of sunglasses. And its trackpad responded quickly to both swipes and taps." To read further, please click The Vuzix Blade 3000 might finally be the sleek smartglasses we’ve been waiting for.

Event Magazine: “The Vuzix Blade 3000 are running on Android software, although there wasn’t any detail about whether or not it’s full Android or a proprietary software that is simply based on Android. Nevertheless, the fact that Android software is involved in some way means that the Vuzix Blade 3000 can provide a whole host of features while wearing these.” CES: A view from the floor.

Geek “…Vuzix Smart Glasses are an Android-based wearable computer. The company currently serves industries like manufacturing and logistics but this product and its partner software capabilities could be a great solution to the next generation of event registration. With the ability to scan and pull data from a central source as well as face recognition, the smart glasses could be used by event professionals to ‘check in’ delegates. It doesn't stop there; two-way communication between wearer and viewer enables the wearer to show what they can see and have the viewer work with them to problem solve, track progress and also share data, technical plans and other relevant information back to the wearer. For me, this is a really exciting piece of tech that is proven in other sectors already.”

Geek “From Snapchat Spectacles to Microsoft Hololens to new products in the works from Lenovo, ODG, and Vuzix, augmented reality glasses are the new virtual reality headsets.” CES 2017 Tech That Will Save And/Or Ruin The World.

Independent: “These augmented reality glasses that show you things, such as directions, email or information about the person standing in front of you, on the inside of one lens. 15 most interesting gadgets from CES 2017.

PCMag "A number of hardware makers rolled out AR headsets at CES designed for business and industrial use during the annual tech extravaganza in Las Vegas this week. Vuzix added to its enterprise AR headset line with its new M3000 Smart Glasses while Lenovo made a surprise entrance into the smart glasses ring.” CES: Looking Through Augmented Reality Glasses at Our Enterprise Future.

Slashgear: "Snapchat’s Spectacles may have given wearable cameras the consumer-acceptance Google Glass never had, but a far more capable set of specs could steal their thunder. Vuzix – which has been pushing head-mounted displays for several years now, though primarily to enterprise users and developers – brought its latest glasses to CES this week, the Blade 3000." Vuzix Blade 3000 smart glasses hands-on: Spectacles’ less-dorky cousin.

Cool Wearable: "It has a full color display and keeps wearers connected without them having to hold their smartphone. It is ready for augmented reality and recording video." Vuzix Blade 3000 Smart Glasses Debut.
