Is this correct?

Just got off with TD again. Apparently holding the stock through the record date of Dec 20th (or 21st?) was not enough. I had to hold through the X (sp) dividend date, which TD rep said was Jan 4th. I sold on the 29th. I guess I mis understood what AERO sent out regarding eligibility for cash payout. It's odd that I was told something completely different on Friday Jan 6th when I spoke with a TD rep, who told me that my check will be deposited into my account by the end of business that day and/or the latest today.
