I might have missed the filing or the part which said that they had until May 30, 2017 to bring the price back up. Could it be that it was the market capitalization they had to bring up until May 2017? They alread achieved that. However, the delisting notice for the sub $1 share price came much earlier than the one for the sub $35mio. market capitalization.

Anyhow, I think they applied the R/S prematurely, because they saw the share price being stuck in the $0.25 - $0.32 range. Even the $20 mio. funding couldn't make the big enough difference they had hoped for. With no other catalysts in sight they probably knew the share price would remain in that range even into H2 2017. At this low share price, you have the stigma of a pennystock and most funds and institutional investors are either not allowed to invest in such a stock or think it is too risky. Also the majority of affluent retail investors probably doesn't like the idea of investing in a pennystock. So I assume that in order to be back on the radar of all the aforementioned groups, CUR decided to apply the R/S now instead of later.

If that strategy plays out we could see the share price finally recovering. Next week we will know.
