The bearish case against MEIP is that the Phase II was NOT a controlled trial. There is always a danger that an uncontrolled Phase II will not be replicated in a controlled Phase III.

I'm not buying the argument, because I believe that every hem onc doc knows exactly what Vidaza can do, i.e. 10.6 months OS. Pracinostat could probably be approved with a 12-month OS and I believe that Pracinostat will beat that.
