NJMC - The President of NJMC, John Swallow, owns the 2nd largest private drilling contracting company in the US. He has developed some proprietary mini-drills and other equipment that is letting them do exploratory drilling for about 25% of what it would normally cost. If anyone can squeeze blood out of this turnip, it is John Swallow.

That said the grades do seem low for $1200 gold to be profitable. They will have to cherry pick the higher grade stuff they can mine and hope to find more high grade veins in the meantime.
