The order was filled at 11:42:55 am.*

I guess I'll start averaging down on XIV at about $90, after it drops 10% from $100. Maybe in a week or two.*

In other words, I'm not very good at predicting where it will go next.*

Before the big one hits, you can always go to cash.*

At least we got a move from $7.62 to $8.92 in late December, as the VIX went from 10.93 to 14.63;*

The VIX went up about 33%, while UVXY went up about 17%.*

So, it looks like a VIX at about 11 is good for a rise in UVXY of 15%, if you can catch it just right.*

A more cautious expectation might work even better, if you ask 10% or 5% from the bottom.*

If the VIX goes down to about 11, and if you can time it just right, and if the pattern holds.*
