Nevertheless, Freitag said 3DIcon was already in discussions with anode manufacturers and has at least one potential customer poised to test the material when it becomes available. The customer could be announced within two months, he said.

“The key step right now is to get it out of the lab and get it scaled so we can start providing larger quantities of material to interested battery anode material manufacturers,” he said. “The industry has really not got its hands on this material.” Its been 4 months since that article came out so we are getting close to the first sale that Doug said could come as early as 6 months from then .. NOW just 2 months away potentially. Also he stated that a customer could be named in a couple of months from the time of the article ..were a couple of months past that so I expect we here soon who the first customer will be !!
