Macau casino revenue sinks for third consecutive year/01-01-2017
Gambling revenue in Macau fell for a third year in a row in 2016 as
a prolonged anti-corruption campaign and slowing economic growth
sapped sentiment in the world's largest casino hub.
Gross gaming revenue fell 3.3% to 223.2B patacas ($28B) last year,
in line with analyst forecasts of a drop of 3%-4%,
but December revenue rose 8% from a year earlier to 19.8B patacas ($2.5B).
