One way to use the coin is to plug it into a device (ie, tablet)and adhere the metal disc on the back of the device and then magnetically attach the coin to the disc on the back of the device (roll any slack cord back up into the coin). If you don't mind the coin always being on back of your device, then you have created a wireless charging device by adding the coin this way.

Option two would be to adhere the metal disc to you device and then only attach the coin's cable when you want to charge the device. The coin will magnetically stick to the back and then your device will charge on the charge pad.

Option three, you can keep the coin on the charge pad and don't even use the metal disc. Just plug any device in whenever you want to charge (this makes it almost like using a cube except the cube can accept any form of usb cable - not just the micro usb connector of the coin).

Of course with option 2 and 3 and the cube, you probably wonder I am plugging it in anyway, why do I need a coin or cube?

One reason is that you don't have to look for an outlet or a power strip. You just connect the coin/cube and put it on the charger. multiple devices all at once don't have to bend over or put some in this outlet and some in that outlet.

It is working out pretty good for us. we used to have several usb cables coming out of the computer a couple plugged in the wall outlet. Now, I have one pad in the office with a coin and cube. The kids just plug their tablet in and go. We throw a couple phones on there at the same time. Only uses one outlet and there is way less clutter.

The phone case is the most convenient since there is no plugging in. just sit the phone down and go. Hopefully, they will make more size to accommodate more phone models.
