Juat as Michael Hawworth leaned over to me two years ago when I asked what he liked best about Gunnison and said "scalabilty".

Options still abound as evidenced in that recent interview:

"ST: That is a good question. As you know, the Gunnison Project will generate significant cash flows, so over time we would expect to fund all expansions out of cash flow. However, this will be a function of the copper price and of the timing of the planned expansions. If immediately after starting production we are seeing excellent numbers, then the expansions could happen sooner which could require external funding, likely in the form of debt. With regards to the acid plant, we have many options available to us. For example, it is even possible that the acid plant could end up being built by a third party, who would then provide us with the acid."

I like all of it. Hard to find such a great deal and it is a rare to. Just wish Quartermain or some such walk on water type were part of the team. We'd be triple now. But in the end reality takes you where you need to be. Triple the slower way.
