I am a long term investor so I agree with the previous posts about the long term. That said in the case of Arcam I view everything with an eye towards this .... Is Arcam going to be responsive to the interests of existing shareholders .... other than GE.

If they have placed an order with GE .. it is presumably a significant order in that A) it is a large order and B) it would be important as an additional confirmation of the potential upside future of Arcam. Either reason could support a stock price increase.

If sales have been made and Arcam has this info but is not making it public ... it does not necessarily mean that they are not acting in our interests. However, I would feel a lot better about my position in Arcam if I saw Arcam proactively publishing positive news about developments.

If they publish positive news it would help reduce my fears that Arcam and GE are actively trying to suppress the price of shares for nefarious reasons ... and to the benefit of GE. Until they publish positive news .. my concerns remain.
