Guy,
My statement about tragedies that I said to Jane I also say to you. Time does heal the deep hurt....I know from experience. Please don't feel bad about not getting the "spirit". Millions of people don't get the spirit for one reason or another. Sometimes we don't get it and feel guilty about not getting it. You have a reason not to, so don't feel bad about that.
