I think a fundamental problem may have been found in their generator / motor HP design.

Today's PR says
"The F-350 truck of Cool Tech features a custom 42.3 generator built by Emerson Electric:"
but it doesn't say anything about that generator using their HP technology to allow it to be smaller.

A flaw would also explain why they never entered the pump market and the last thing we heard is that it was being tested.

I will assume that the extra 5 million dollars they need is to go back to the drawing board on the design. That is a lot of money so it must be more than a minor adjustment needed.
