I was looking at the U.S. Market Options Volume summary today at bats.com.

NASDAQ 5,487,548

CBOE 2,353,560

BATS 1,575,541

nasdaq.com has been using quotemedia’s options chains for years.
With the recent acquisition of BATS by the CBOE, it just seems like quotemedia would be a natural choice to provide a common and universal options chain for all three.

If an options trader goes to nasdaq.com to look at the option chain for the Chicago Board Options Exchange, NASDAQ: CBOE, they can see that the nasdaq, NASDAQ: NDAQ already uses quotemedia OTC: QMCI for options data.

The potential for quotemedia to provide options data to both BATS, AMEX: BATS and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, NASDAQ: CBOE is there.

QMCI updated their options data a few weeks ago to be user friendly, modern and easy to understand.

Nice potential for QMCI.

IMO and FWIW.
