I'm a bit surprised how shocked this clerk was to hear this from these pieces of pond scum because this is the mentality of so many these days.

If you aren't armed and you think when it hits the fan you have a chance to make it from being ripped off and your Wife and daughter not raped think again cause you are in FANTASY LAND!

Default What i was forced to smile through hearing today
So, today I am at work (Gander Mountain gun bar) waiting on customers, and I see this kid with a United States Marine Corps hat on, with two other older gents. Now this kid is the right age to be a first time enlistee, but he has WAY too much hair and is kind of out of shape, on the verge of man boobs. Figuring he was in delayed entry, I asked, "so when are you going to Boot?," figuring to start a potential sale-conversation. " I don't have any intention of going to the military, I just support," said this ****-stain WANNABE with his hat sitting on his empty melon..GGGRRRRRRRR.........

Wait, it gets better..

So, one of the old dudes, with useless, volunteers that the OTHER old dude is retired Army, I say awesome, did time in the 82nd myself, we go back and forth for a minute, and it goes from Mad Dog being selected for SECDEF to the future of the country. We go through how I had a run on AR's for a while by folks trying to get ready for hard times ahead, and now at least we have maybe two years to get ready for come-what-may.

Now this is usually safe ground to be on (I should have known from the water-headed man-child with them what they were) with older, veteran folks on the gun bar in Texas.

This old WASTE tells me, "I don't see any reason to put back if things get bad, I'll just find find someone who has supplies and shoot them and take what they've got."

I couldn't believe that I had heard this right, cut my eyes to the first old dude, (with an O2 bottle on his hip, by the way) and he is just a nodding away and smiling like this is a fine old idea, man child behind them is trying to, I guess, give me a Manly Nod in the order of "Yep, we gonna take care of business, you betcha," with a stern look, or as stern as a butter soft tweeny twenty (?) something can give.

I pretended to get a call on the radio, promised to be right back, and retired to the gunsmith's office, where I was amazed at the combination of amazement at what I had just heard, and the aneurism I swear I could FEEL inside my head from rage deflating back to a normal blood vessel.

This old dude could not have been younger than 55-60.

WHAT IN THE EVERLASTING FLYING MONKEY FORNICATION?!

In 41 years on this planet I have never actually wanted to skull-drag a senior citizen until today.
