Tech Brief: A lithium metal battery built using computer chip manufacturing technologies. This provides a low cost, high energy density, long lifetime battery. Applicable for dismounted soldier to grid scale. This would reduce the payload (weight) for different missions.

FIGURES OF MERIT

Value Proposition: The high volumetric and gravimetric energy density battery, manufacturable at very low cost, can lead to weight reduction for dismounted soldier backpacks, to larger stationary applications. For integrated applications, the mission endurance can be significantly increased by the use of the PowerChip battery.
