Reagan got the most electoral votes of all time because we had 7.4% economic growth that year (Best year since WW2). It works really well for economic growth. It just didn't help with the deficit. Reagan wanted to roll back on government spending mostly on welfare and entitlements but the Dems obviously said no. You need to cut spending in order to help the deficit.

JFK said to raise tax revenues, you should lower taxes. It worked well under JFK/LBJ. They were able to balance the budget and have huge economic growth.

Obamanomics will never get us back to 4% growth. He is the only president of the modern era to never even have 3% growth. Sure, he inherited a bad economy but has had 8 years to turn it around and we are just treading water here.

I'm still very happy Trump won. He would be much better for business than Hillary or Bernie ever would have been.
