Don't know if it's ever been pumped but left to die, perhaps? I really don't think anything shady has taken place, just simply things didn't pan out apparently. Maybe time to start thinking about tax man. Few weeks left to decide but leaning toward giving up. No communication from the company in any form what so ever.
