AngeloFoca, IPCI no studies showing superiority over Oxycontin. So I do not think IPCI can go around advertising that Rexista lasts a full 12 hours while Oxycontin does not. Maybe Rexista also peters out in as little as 8 hours in the same patients. I think I read the shortened action is due to patients that metabolize oxycodone faster or "fast metabolizers". Only thing IPCI can claim about Rexista's drug is that it is bioequivalent to Oxycontin, which means it is equivalent not superior.
