This is such a great article even though it does not mention Vascepa..I congratulate you for posting this because it is clear you are seeing the big picture when it comes to IL-6 and the rest of these "bad guy" eicosanoids that play the major role in damaging our heart and blood vessels..

I never knew that psoriasis increased the the risk for CVD,or how many billions of dollars were spent on the disease in the USA every year..From the looks of it, V is not probably going to be an effective agent against psoriasis, but it certainly should lower the CVD risk in these patients..This also suggests that patients with Scleroderma should also be at high risk for CVD.

Everyone of these observations points to the importance of these inflammatory agents like interleukin 6 (IL-6) in degenerative disease and we know that EPA is the key to suppressing these agents...
