I know because I did the same thing with SWIFT energy. I bought $500 worth of the BK penny stock, took a big haircut like 1 new for 500 old shares so I ended up at $8.80 pps cost basis for the new shares. Now SWIFT is selling over $33 pps and I'm up over 300% so far plus I have a wad of warrants that maybe worth something someday.

That is exactly what is happening here.
