Oakie...

I haven't posted really anything here in years, but was very active on this forum for a long time. My arms got tired... smile

Your observations are appreciated. I share your opinion that there is a long-held, trapped short position on CRGS,that was built during the years that the company wasn't able to deliver a product to market. It is my belief, and it's shared by some, not by all obviously. The length of time CRGS was operating without a revenue/product launch created the perfect storm. The position is, I beleive, trapped because the stock, for years, has traded at such low volumes. The position, or positions havenot been able to be unwound without running the price up, due to low volumes. So it sits on books of these investment firms books (see below). All good for CRGS right now. There is a belief, and in my opinion, a misunderstanding about illegal naked short positions. A common belief is that because it's illegal, it doesn't exist. Dealing drugs is illegal too, but stiil happens.

When these large market makers took a naked short position for themselves or a client, that then became an illegal naked short positon, they bury these positions on their balance sheets as "sold but not closed" transactions (can't remember the exact term but think this is close) , and avoiding the FTD penaties. This is oversimplified, but people can do their own research on this. If people looked at the balance sheets of these big invesment banking firms, they show enormous amounts of this stuff on the books. The numbers are vast.

I also can understand how someone can take the position that this stuff doesn't exist. That's cool too.....

Having been invested in this company for all of these years, I am rooting for them heavily. The recent activities, highlighted by tovc4me, are very encouraging. I look forward to seeing where Kaplan and crew take this thing. Things seem to be looking up for CRGS.

Merry Christmas
