pain meds provide relief with hideous side effects and long term additions.

Only when abused.

I've used opioids. I never had any side effects. I am not addicted. I still have a bottle of 8 percocets in the cupboard that have expired -- I kept them around just in case I got hurt but never used them.

My doctors rarely prescribe opioids. For my rotator cuff injury this year, the doctor "prescribed" Aleve and icepacks and PT.

I tried an ActiPatch on my shoulder and it did nothing. If it had worked even a little I would have kept using it. Luckily, the ice pack gave me complete pain relief.

I suspect that many if not MOST of the "testimonials" you find online are from BIEL shareholders. I didn't leave a "testimonial" or rating anywhere because I don't care. But there can only be one reason for the declining ActiPatch revenues in the UK: people try it and don't think it's worth $30 so they don't buy another.

The same thing will happen in the USA if/when the ActiPatch gets cleared for OTC use here. Initial revenues will be high as BIEL tries it's "Trial Version" campaign, but that Trial Version isn't profitable. BIEL is going to spend a lot of money that first year and then struggle for two more years as they burn money and placate their shareholders with empty promises.

And then, the END.
