I have many times encouraged or tried to encourage folks not to 100% trust what comes from Sunday School literature or from the pulpit, the Bible is the Book of Directions and that is what folks need to go by....if one does not read and study the Scriptures they are prime meat for da devil.....you mentioned "end of times", I remember what ole Billy G. said years ago, and go by that....the end of time for me is when I draw my last breath. We all have different gifts/talents, levels of understanding & knowledge....ME? I have tried to get interested in the end of times according to Scripture, just ain't my cup of tea, I am just to thick to even begin to understand...Then I also have a simple faith----I believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit....Scripture clearly says if I got that down, I will make it into heaven.....the trick here is understanding what in Scripture "BELIEVE" means----and that is a whole boat load, so to speak, way more than just say'n it.
Reckon bottom line is that each person is responsible for either believing or not believing. We are called to let our light so shine and hopefully others will want to come to Christ....I/we just can't make it happen it is an act of the Holy Spirit, I think...lol...but then I ain't the person to listen too either...I don't want God to ask someone why they did this or that and they tell Him, "well, ya see, ole Dave told me-----"according to James, teachers have a stricter judgment or something like that...God Bless and enjoy this another day
