Yea for sure. Well check this chart out I drew of 2hr $vix yesterday. This is the best way to watch for UVXY entries IMO. Whenever vix taps or pierces the bottom of the 2hr Bollie and there's a reversal doji hammer or white soldier. There's almost always a vix spike.
