Nah wasn't updating at the time. this started couple days ago and honestly don't remember what was going on other than multiple tabs open on regular sites......just shut itself off. Then the blue screen on reboot. Very slow to boot but after a while runs normally.
But does seem warmer on the top of the machine where the exhaust fan is and can hear the higher pitched humming seemingly more often as well now that you mention it.....
