Yeah that comment was aimed ( no pun intended) at you.

The market will be volatile next year.

I got out of one of the three option positions I wanted. The others weren't worth rolling. I will let them be called and then decide to buy the stock back or not.

It is not about being bullish or bearish. I will sell puts at what I am willing to buy and sell calls at what I would sell.

I will also buy deep in the money calls to start a position and sell out of the money calls at the same time.
