Company has said that the renal study is not necessary to submit the NDA. They've also known for many months that the renal study wouldn't be ready to very end of first half or beginning of second half 2017. So it's my understanding that the renal study will not be part of the NDA. I believe they were surprised by the 302's positive impact on kidney function and wanted to dive deeper in order to make the drug more attractive to prescribing doctors and potential partners.
