Some thoughts on SABCS 2016 PR

For me the big enchilada in the room is the Poziotinib abstract (Note - of the 5 presentations this is the only abstract). Why, well we'll see how effective it is in Metastatic BC i.e. the sickest patients where other drug regimes didn't help much. And it will let us know more or less if we have a winner or not. I will go and try to find the abstract later but feel free to post it if you get to it before me.

Regarding SPI-2012/Rolontism (eflapegrastim) the one of special interest for me is the poster on Immunogenicity. I think this would be the only thing that would prevent this drug from being successful; the P2 study really didn't exhibit any concerns but it's good for it to be reinforced. The P3 poster could be of interest too in that it's open label (and randomized) they might decide to give us some feed back on where they are w that one (eg # of pts treated, etc). Essentially though, all the SPI-2012 posters will start prepping the medical world that this drug will be a tool in their arsenal in the not too distant future.
