You suggest that I'm a nut to believe that just because we had a late winter we will have a late spring. Then you suggest that I do not know the difference between a scientists and a weatherman.

You also say that colder than normal weather for a localized area does not mean anything to the weather in the USA. You are misinformed!

The arctic and polar air outbreaks in the USA come from Canada, Alaska and Siberia. Siberia is the refrigerator of the Northern Hemisphere where air masses are chilled first and then exported to other regions like Alaska. This cold air nudges the polar jet stream southward bringing cold air from Siberia to Alaska then across Canada and to the USA. We have just such a system on the way this week. The bitter cold will indeed turn you into a believer! I don't need to say anymore!
