Good points James, that could have played into it too, raising cash after the Amgen deal to lock in a higher price especially if there was pressure on the biotech sector. I think both factors probably were part of the timing. Even you alluded in one posts that it made sense that management would want to lock their options in at as low of a strike price as possible, and there's nothing like a dilution to make it happen.
