Passed the first test. In my opinion each business day that passes (after the most recent GE deadline) that the stock does not tank is a good thing...and not just because stock holders did not loose money.

If we can get through the first week or so with the stock staying above the GE offer price (say to the end of next week), then this might have the affect of bringing in investors who had been nervous about the prospects of the stock tanking. Arcam might be a momentum play in the short run ... If the stock price stays stable ... this will bring in more investors..which will lead to the stock staying stable (possibly going up).

At some point in the future I think the risk we run will be tightly linked to how Arcam/GE run the company, which we will get some insights into with the next couple of quarterly reports. These statements will be the next hurdle.

As I offered before, I think we might learn something from the compensation plans (assuming it is published). Maybe that is something we could advocate for...transparency into the compensation plan.

Not sure if it makes a difference but it will be interesting to see who is currently left owning the company (institutional or retail investors)? I have to believe that any institutions that remain are in for the long run. Not enough liquidity to get in/out of the open market w/out affecting the price.

Be curious as to how much the remaining 85% is owned by retail. With just 15% of the float left (10% with Eliot), I would think that retail investors could buy with enough volume to drive up the price. Plus, retail investors would be ok with buying Arcam shares because they would know that they can get out if they need to.. since each of their respective positions would represents a relatively small number of the total number of available shares.

So far so good. A bit of a relief to see the stock above the GE offer price. Big week next week.
