Lion, I realize that a lot of people do not believe my bullish statements on natgas, CHK, or the weather. And I don't really care as long you don't start insulting my intelligence or my ability to do massive amounts of research.
I have over 100K shares of CHK and would not be this deep if I did not believe that we are headed into a record breaking winter that will last into April. I also believe that with only 118 rigs drilling for natgas right now, we can not possibly keep up with the demand a cold winter will bring.
Furthermore, it will take at least 2 months to bring natgas to market after the drilling starts, maybe longer. Drilling 15,000-foot laterals and doing all the things it takes to deliver natgas is not something you do in two weeks. Besides, everyone wants tier 1, pad optimized rigs and I don't think there is enough rigs ready to start working tomorrow. And what about getting crews to work in foul weather. Mud up to your axles. Snow asshole deep and a bitter cold wind. Have you ever been in Oklahoma during a blizzard? It is freezing cold. You bare skins sticks to the pipes!
I started working in the GOM in 1963 as a mate on a supply boat. I started investing in oil and gas in 1972. I started trading online in 1993. I know the game inside out. And I spent 15 hours a day researching Chesapeake's potential and the coming winter I am not a fool and I am not a liar!
Besides all that, I really don't care if you believe me or not. As usually, I post my prediction online because I want bragging rights when they come close. I also post a lot because I have a poor memory--it helps ME to go over my own posts and see where I went wrong so I can learn from my mistakes.
