Baltia spent millions of dollars to the FAA in certification fees. They flew to Washington and met with them a year ago. HQ had deep relationships with regional FAA. They are registered at same hangar in Willow Run with Kalitta. They spent years establishing these relationships. The merger would be rubber-stamped since Baltia would be dissolved and just a typical shell reverse merger.

Seems like its just a SEC and paperwork issue than a new airplane company. Its just my opinion. I could be dead wrong. Maybe BLTA will be its own new company with own facilities. But, I think it makes more sense to just acquire Baltia for its ability to raise capital via shares and spin-off a new subdivision of Kalitta. I don't see Tony becoming like Igor and Connie to really do this. Spending years to build a company. If I were CEO, a merger or lease arrangement is better. Uber, AirBnB follow this model. You don't have to build or buy all the cars and hotels to get going. You leverage existing resources.
