Amazon Web Services to become operating system for the cloud, says Oppenheimer
Commenting on the second day of Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Web Services re:Invent conference, Oppenheimer analyst Jason Helfstein notes that the company announced new products focused on database solution/analytics, artificial intelligence, migration, security, services and hybrid solutions. The analyst believes AWS continues to move toward becoming the operating system of the cloud. By bringing new services to market around container management, mobile data analytics, security and cross platform data cataloging, the company continues to entice enterprises to go all-in and continues to drive value proposition, he argues.
