Really, that's interesting, your post caused me to do research and find a web site called stockpromoters.com that appears to attempt to find a historical view of all the stock promotions (and the details for those promotions) for a given stock that have ever occurred and how the stock did on the day of the promotion. How they figure this out I have no idea, but its interesting.

now in previous promotions for QPAG on 7/21 and 8/15, 8/16, the stock went down and never recovered (until now its getting close to 8/15) and the disclaimers include stuff like "If we have been engaged by a third person (not the issuer), you should assume that such third person who engaged us in connection with this profile owns shares of the company AND may sell such shares in the public market. "

Now the latest promotions are for 11/30 and 12/1 and the stock has responded positively as we see, but ...

I do not feel comfortable with this type of shenanigans and will be selling some more in the 80s as the opportunity arises today and would consider buying back only if it drops back to maybe 50 cents.
