Fannie and Freddie are huge companies, so 1 shareholder selling probably isn't a big deal. The big deal is now since Trump won, Fannie and Freddie have two chances to become private companies again: one via the courts, and the other via the Trump administration and the Republican congress.

Bruce Berkowitz thinks it's criminal how the US government is siphoning off the huge profits of Fannie and Freddie after they both have paid off their government loans by substantially more than they ever borrowed.
